INTRODUCTION |
Pearl River Delta: The manufacturing center of the world
Guangdong province, with the highest international competitive power, is the largest economic province in China. In the year 2002, Guangdong's industrial products accounted for 14.84% of the national market, ranking first in all China's provinces. "Made in Guangdong"is very popular throughout China, and Pearl River Delta area has become the "manufacturing center of the world".
Guangzhou: The central city in South China
With solid economic power, comprehensive urban functions, convenient traffic networks, large consumer market, high opening degree, fast developing exhibition service system, and socialized exhibition guarantee system, Guangzhou is no doubt the most ideal place for holding international exhibitions.
Economic power: Guangzhou is located in the central area of Pearl River Delta, which is the most active and fast-developing economic region in China. As the largest central city in this area, Guangzhou gathers and distributes all kinds of resources including human resources, materials, capitals and information quickly and efficiently. In 2003, the GDP of Guangzhou increased by 15%, and the economic growth was 6.5% and 1.4% higher than that of the country and of Guangdong province respectively.
Potential consumption capacity: The gross sale of social consumer goods of Guangzhou was RMB149.5 billion in 2003. This figure ranked No.3 among all cities in China. Guangzhou had been at this position for 10 consecutive years. The per capita sale of social consumer goods of Guangzhou, however, had ranked No.1 in China.
Pazhou: The future international exhibition zone
According to the development planning of Pazhou, this area is expected to become a "sub-center concentrating on convention and exhibition industry". With hotels, office buildings, government departments, traffic networks and other facilities on construction, Pazhou will become an international exhibition zone in the future.
The traffic condition of Pazhou is very convenient. There is a road network consisting of Huanan Express Highway, East Circular Expressway, and Xingang East Road; a subway network consisting of No.2 Subway and No.4 Subway, which is on planning, and a unique waterway transportation network utilizing the advantage of Pearl River. With the total area of roads reaching 2.5 square kilometers, this 10.5-square-kilometer small island has the highest road density in China.

Exhibitors or visitors could take Line 2 at A entrance of Railway Guangzhou Railway Station, get off at Xin Gang Dong Station and go out through A exit.
-Railway East Station
It will take about 30 minutes to CECF (Pazhou) Complex by taxi.
Exhibitors or visitors could take Line 3 at D entrance of Railway Guangzhou Railway East Station to Ke Cun Station and transfer from D entrance of Ke Cun Station from Line 3 to Line 2, get off at Xin Gang Dong Station and go out through A exit.
C. Metro
Guangzhou Metro is one of main transportation vehicles in Guangzhou. Passengers may transfer from Line 1 to Line 2 at Gong Yuan Qian Station. Visitors could take Line 2 to CECF (Liuhua) Complex and get off at Yue Xiu Gong Yuan Station. The C exit is where CECF (Liuhua) Complex is located. To CECF (Pazhou) Complex, please take Line 2, get off at Xin Gang Dong Station and go out through A exit.
